About LilleLam

The beginning
LilleLam AS was established by two newly-become-mothers with a common problem: It seemed impossible to find garments for children in pure wool, with an outstanding and functional design, and which does not irritate the skin of the toddlers. The solution to this was to create a new brand with a proper collection, developed in close collaboration with Norwegian designers and produced in 100% Merino wool.

Warm clothes made with love and consideration
The collection is based on two lines. One is for everyday use, such as in the kindergarten. The other line is designed for more special occasions. The design has simple lines and is classical in its forms. However, the embroidery and the pattern elements are from richer handcraft traditions of ancient times.

Great importance has been placed on the practical solutions of the garments, but also on possibility of “growth”.  Fold-ups are employed wherever it is possible, so that the child can use the garment through several seasons.

Easy care for busy parents
Whereas the design recalls elements of the past, the clean and pure wool material is based on the latest technological development. The wool is of the softest kind and does not itch or irritate the skin. The wool is “super-wash” treated and can consequently safely be washed in the washing-machine on a wool program without shrinking or change of dimensions.

The Future
LilleLam AS has a goal to create a unique Norwegian label within children’s wear. To reach this goal, we place outmost importance in product quality and good design, as well as a simple and linear distribution system, which easily covers larger areas.
